Here's some off the top of my head:

- Think about your audience. Who are you writing this for? It helps when making writing decisions.
- Think about the purpose of your blog post. What are you hoping to achieve with it? Persuading people of your opinion? Getting people to read til the end? Having a rant because you enjoy it? All purposes are valid here.
- Use paragraphs. Breaking up long blocks of text makes it easier to read. Also consider subheadings to help break it up visually.
- Proofread and check your spelling. Your credibility as a writer soars when you have written in a clear, readable way.
- Love what you write. Be proud to own your blog post and your enjoyment and sincerity will show.
